While many restaurants have struggled with rising food costs and a labor shortage, Prince Pizzeria just posted its best month ever in terms of sales in October. All along the Castrabertis have prided themselves on giving back to the community and supporting local charities.Ĭastraberti said he feels fortunate that Prince Pizzeria has persevered well through the pandemic. Over the years Prince Pizzeria has undergone several expansions, adding function rooms and the Giggles Comedy Club. “It’s like an old friend, people really want to see the tower,” Castraberti said.Ĭastraberti’s father Arthur bought Prince Pizzeria in 1961 and family members have operated the restaurant ever since. It is part of the appeal of an original, family-owned restaurant that keeps happy patrons coming back, he said. In Castraberti’s eyes, the tower functions as a sort of beacon that draws customers to Prince Pizza. Castraberti told the Advertiser Teddy is now the fifth generation of Castrabertis who have lived in the United States. ![]()
